Top Ten Favorite Books in 2009

I have read around 50 books in 2009, including 6 comic strips (Curhat Tita, Cerita Si Lala, Embroideries, Persepolis, Wimpy Kid series and Mafalda series), 6 Haruki Murakami's books, Anne of Green Gables series and 7 local books. To wrap it all, I only can say that I love all of them.

But if I have to choose my top ten favorite books from my 2009 reading, the list will go on like this:

  1. Sputnik Sweetheart, Haruki Murakami
  2. South of the Border, West of the Sun, Haruki Murakami
  3. Dance Dance Dance, Haruki Murakami
  4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson
  5. Midnight Children, Salman Rushdie
  6. The Kabul Beauty School, Deborah Rodriguez
  7. A Fraction of the Whole, Steve Toltz
  8. The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch
  9. Have A Little Faith, Mitch Albom
  10. The Life Golden Ticket, Brendon Burchard
Well...there are 3 Murakami's books in the list above, it seems that Murakami will always be my favorite author, I love most of his works, although it's sometimes weird, but I still can enjoy it though.

@ Cha: Ya, semuanya english version, heran jg knp para penerbit di Indonesia males men-translate buku2nya Murakami ya? Padahal peminat Murakami banyak jg loh!

@ Ferina: Baru googling Bday Stories ternyata kumpulan 12 cerpen dg tema bday & ditulis oleh bbrp penulis (hanya 1 cerpen buatan Murakami), sptnya menarik, sayang nggak pernah liat bukunya di bookstore sini.

@ Kiky: Targetnya 80 buku setahun. Mungkin nanti kalo udah jadi a stay-at-home-mom....:D
