Just realized that I brought colorful stuffs (an esprit umbrella, an unbranded pouch & a bodyshop small tote bag) when I took Zea to her school this morning. Tell you what I did feel good with this colorful ambience. I guess one of the reasons why God creates color is to boost our mood. Have a comfy Wednesday, everyone:)

The main character here is Alexander Cold, a fifteen-year-old boy. Alex's mother needs to undergo a chemotherapy for her cancer somewhere in Texas therefore all her three kids are entrusted with their grandmothers. Alex sisters will stay with grandma Carla while Alex must go to New York to her eccentric grandma Kate Cold in New York.
Meanwhile, Kate announces that she'll be taking Alex with her to the Amazon jungle during his visit. Kate is assigned by the International Geographic to have an expedition with certain members such as the photographer, anthropologist, physician and guide to the dangerous, remote wild of South America, on the border between Brazil and Venezuela on a mission to document the legendary yeti of the Amazon known as the Beast.
Beside enjoying Alex thrilling adventure, I am very much mesmerized by the description of the Amazon rainforest. The author had done a wonderful job in describing nature beauties along with a detail research on Amazon. This is a light novel with serious environmental issues. Enjoyable.
Last Sunday was raining cats and dogs, but it did not stop me and my yoga friends to start our morning trip to The Pinewood Lodge & Organic Farm at Cisarua. We planned to have yoga practice there. The road to the place was a bit hard, it definitely needed a very skilful driver. But at the moment we arrived there, we were stunned. The view was truly beautiful.
We finally had a two-hour yoga practice at the place that was just too good to be true. We really enjoyed the pine wood, the singing bird, the blowing wind and all that peaceful things around us. It made us felt nothing but grateful. Feeling totally blessed and deciding to live and enjoy a good life.
Zea: Aku baru timbang badan aku, mama
Mama: Ohhh..berapa berat Zea?
Zea: Ternyata aku sekarang sudah besar, beratku 20...meter
Every time my best friends have their birthdays and I get confused in choosing the best present for them, I always turn to custom handmade stuff. Up until now those handmade goods never fail me. Sometimes when my order arrived I was just so damn in love with them and had a thought to find something else as the present *sigh*
This time is one of my ex colleague's birthday. We've known each other for more than 10 years therefore this custom made wallet and blackberry pouch are just the perfect gift for her. Thanks to Sawo Kecik. Your creation is amazing. This is my second order at Sawo Kecik. The first one was also awesome. Big thanks.

The author searchs out how different countries define and pursue the happiness and analyzes the formulas for happiness. To validate his research, the author also visited unhappy countries such as Moldova (the chunk of former Soviet Union) and Slough in UK.
Don't worry, this is not a 'hard' and serious book. In fact in my opinion it's the best humorous travel memoir. It's part travelogue and part personal-discovery memoir. It's going to make you think and laugh at the same page. This book might just make you happy.
And what is the conclusion of this journey? Does the author find the happiest country? At the end of the journey the author conclude that the happiness means different things to different people. Well....perhaps that's because happiness is in our hearts not elsewhere.

Then look at how Denis Thatcher proposed Margaret to be his wife and how Margaret asked him that she did not want 'just' becoming a housewife. She said that life's only once and it must be meaningful than just washing and taking care of the children. I am touched by Denis' answer. He said that's why he proposed her because he's already known what she wanted in life. How sweet.
Being a Prime Minister is not an easy job to do. By 1990s Margaret Thatcher resigned as Prime Minister and it turned out that she is still angry and bitter twenty years later.
Her health condition is getting worse particularly after her husband passed away of cancer in 2003. She suffers of dementia (memory loss) and she has difficulty distinguishing between the past and the present. She said once that "Being Prime Minister is a lonely job. In a sense, it ought to be: you cannot lead from the crowd. But with Denis there I was never alone. What a man, what a husband, what a friend."
Two thumbs up for Merryl Streep. She is the greatest living film actress. She is an expert of performing the real-life character. I didn't see Merry Streep in the movie but it seems that it's just the real Margaret Thatcher. Awesome.
Decided to reward myself a Haruki Murakami's latest book*big smile*
Now I am preparing myself to start reading this thick book, in fact it's almost a thousand pages. It's going to be an awesome adventure:)
