Anne of Green Gables

If a book can warm our heart. This is it.Written by Lucy M. Montgomery in 1908, yeah...this is a classic novel and this book is translated to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Anne of Green Gables (1908-2008).

On the front page of the book cover, it is written "A classic novel that beat the selling of Harry Potter, To Kill A Mockingbird and Gone With The Wind", is the book that great? Honestly, I have to admit, yes absolutely.

It's about Anne,an 11-yr-old-orphan-girl who comes to Avonlea village due to misunderstanding. Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert actually want a boy to help them taking care of their house, known as "Green Gables". But, unfortunately, the orphanage send Anne, the litttle girl with red hair.

At first, not many people like Anne, but with her cheerful act, naive behaviour and sometimes ridiculous, slowly melt Marilla and Matthew hearts. Anne also falls in love with Avonlea and Green Gables.

Anne is a girl with unlimited imagination. Everyday is full of adventures with her best friends. This story of Anne is engaging, hilarious and touchy at the same time. It will bring you entering a world full of imagination and happiness even in our hardest days.

A very recommended book.
